Wir erheben keine Gebühren für Reservierungen, die 7 Tage oder länger vor dem Abholtermin storniert oder geändert werden. Wenn Sie Ihre Reservierung nach diesem Zeitpunkt stornieren oder ändern, dann werden die folgenden Gebühren erhoben:

• Wenn Sie Ihre Reservierung weniger als 7 Tage vor dem Abholtermin stornieren oder ändern, dann werden Ihnen entweder die vollen Kosten der Reservierung oder bis zu maximal € 30,00, je nachdem, welches der niedrigere Betrag ist, angerechnet.
• Wenn Sie Ihre Reservierung weniger als 24 Stunden vor dem Abholtermin stornieren oder ändern, dann werden Ihnen entweder die vollen Kosten der Reservierung oder bis zu maximal € 70,00, je nachdem, welches der niedrigere Betrag ist, angerechnet.

Nichterscheinen

Wenn Sie Ihr Fahrzeug nicht am spezifizierten Abholtermin abholen, dann behalten wir uns das Recht vor, Ihnen eine Nichterscheinungsgebühr in Höhe der Kosten der Reservierung oder bis zu maximal € 70,00, je nachdem, welches der niedrigere Betrag ist anzurechnen. Im Falle eines Nichterscheinens wird Ihnen Ihre Kreditkartenzahlung abzüglich der Nichterscheinungsgebühr rückerstattet.

Nicht aufgebrauchte Miettage

Wir weisen darauf hin, dass nicht aufgebrauchte Miettage bei vorausbezahlten Reservierungen nicht rückerstattet werden.

Additional Driver Policy

Additional drivers fee is EUR 26.76 per rental, excl vat. Rental conditions apply to all additional drivers.

Age Requirements

Minimum rental age is 21 years for car groups MXAR (Mini Special), EBMN (Economy), EBMR (Economy), EDMR (Economy), EXAR (Economy Special), HCMR (Economy Elite), EMMR (Economy Monospace), CDMR (Compact), CDAR (Compact), CXAR (Compact Special), CXMR (Compact Special), DCMR (Compact Elite), IDMR (Intermediate), SDMR (Standard), SXMR (Standard Special), IMMR (Intermediate Monospace), IWAR (Intermediate Wagon-Estate), CWMR (Compact Wagon-Estate), CMMR (Compact Monospace), EXMR (Economy Special), IGAR (Intermediate Crossover - automatic), IGMR (Intermediate Crossover), ETMR (Ecomomy Convertible). Minimum rental age is 23 years for car groups EDAR (Economy), IDAR (Intermediate) SDAR (Standard), FDAR (Fullsize), FDMR (Fullsize), SWMR (Standard Wagon-Estate), IMAR (Intermediate Monospace), IVAR (Intermediate Passenger Van), FVAR (Fullsize Passenger Van), FVMR (Fullsize Passenger Van), GVMR (Fullsize Elite Passenger Van), SVMR (Standard Passenger Van). Minimum rental age is 25 years for car groups PDAR (Premium) LDAR (Luxury), SWAR (Standard Wagon-Estate), FWAR (Fullsize Wagon-Estate), IFMR (Intermediate SUV), PFAR (Premium SUV), SFAR (Standard SUV), CTMR (Compact Convertible), PSMR (Premium Sport), LFAR (Luxury SUV). There is no maximum rental age. Young drivers surcharge is EUR 26.75 per day, excl vat, with a maximum charge of 10 days, for drivers between 21-24 years of age (inclusive).

Cross Border Policy

Cross border travel is not permitted into Albania, Belarus, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Republic of Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine. Cross border travel is permitted into Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom at no extra cost. Cross border travel is permitted into France Corsica, Sardinia Islands, Balearic Islands, providing the car is returned to the European mainland. Cars taken to Channel Islands cannot benefit from any breakdown or accident assistance. Cars taken to Corsica must be brought back to the Continent. Please be advised that the following areas in Germany: Berlin, Cologne and Hannover will require an 'Emissions Sticker' stating the emission of the vehicle intended to enter these areas. Without this sticker, the driver of the vehicle will be fined up to EUR 40.00 even if the car is registered abroad. Should the car not have the 'Emissions Sticker', then this can be purchased at most garages. Please be advised that due to a change in law in Germany, it is mandatory for all vehicles crossing the border into Germany to have winter tyres fitted during the Snow & Icy conditions. Customers will be fined on the spot if they are stopped by police and found to not have the appropriate winter tyres. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT FOR ANY RENTALS COLLECTED IN FRANCE, VEHICLES ARE TO BE RETURNED TO THE FRENCH SIDE OF THE GENEVA BORDER TO AVOID ANY ONE WAY DROP CHARGE. SO FOR ANY VEHICLES PICKED UP ON THE FRENCH SIDE OF THE GENEVA BORDER AND LEFT ON THE SWISS SIDE OF THE GENEVA BORDER THIS WOULD INCCUR A ONE WAY FEE (DROP CHARGE) OF €120.

Delivery / Collection

Delivery and Collections are permitted on request and local conditions apply. Delivery and Collection charges are advised at the time of reservation.

Insurance Excess

Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Waiver limits the customer’s financial responsibility for loss, damage or theft of the rental vehicle. The maximum excess payable in the event of one of these incidents is 4000.00 EUR. The maximum excess will vary depending on the vehicle being rented. Please ask at time of rental for further information on which excess applies. If you would like to reduce or remove the excess responsibility please ask the rental staff when collecting your vehicle about additional products that are on offer.

License Requirements

Customers must present a full and valid driving licence which has been held for a minimum of one year. License must be in Roman alphabet. An international driving licence is valid only if presented with the domestic driving licence. The customer must also provide either an identity card or a passport, return train or flight tickets and a local landline telephone number, this cannot be a mobile number. Due to an increased theft risk, a proof of home address will be required from all domestic renters (French residents only) at time of rental. As proof of address France accept a EDF/GDF bill or France Telecom bill (or a bill from any other landline provider). Should your driving license not be resident to the country of origin of your booking we reserve the right to charge an appropriate rate for your country of residence.

One Way Rentals

A) One way rentals are permitted for all public products (except weekend rates) for all cars in France at a cost of EUR 75.25 + vat (EUR 90.00 EUR, incl vat) per rental. B) One way rentals are permitted on all tour products (except weekend rates) for all cars in France at a cost of EUR 75.25 + vat (EUR 90.00 EUR, incl vat) per rental. C) One way rentals are not permitted on car groups SVMR, FVAR, CTMR, IFMR, SFAR, PFAR and LFAR. There is a local charge of 230.00 EUR, incl vat, for the CTMR (Compact Convertible), FVAR (Fullsize Passenger Van) and SVMR (Standard Passenger Van) car groups and 450.00 EUR, incl vat, for the IFMR (Intermadite SUV), SFAR (Standard SUV), PFAR (Premium SUV) and LFAR (Luxury SUV) car groups. The local charges apply to both tour and public products regardless of number of rental days. One way rentals are not permitted on weekend products (public and tour). Customers will be charged a penalty of EUR 120.00 (paid locally) for any domestic one way rental placed on weekend rates. One way rentals between locations within the same city are free of charge. One way rentals are not permitted between France mainland and France Corsica. International one way rentals are not permitted for the IFMR (Intermadiate SUV), FVAR (Fullsize Passenger Van), SVMR (Standard Passenger Van), CTMR (Compact Convertible), SFAR (Standard SUV), PFAR (Premium SUV), LFAR (Luxury SUV), IGMR (Intermediate Crossover),  PDAR (Premium), and LDAR (Luxury) car groups. Please consult the IOWP for international one way rentals. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT FOR ANY RENTALS COLLECTED IN FRANCE AND RETURNING TO GENEVA AIRPORT, VEHICLES ARE TO BE RETURNED TO THE FRENCH SIDE OF THE GENEVA BORDER TO AVOID ANY EXTRA ONE WAY DROP CHARGE.  FOR ANY VEHICLES PICKED UP ON THE FRENCH SIDE OF THE GENEVA BORDER AND LEFT ON THE SWISS SIDE OF THE GENEVA BORDER WILL INCCUR A ONE WAY FEE (DROP CHARGE) OF €120.

Out of Hours Policy

Out of hours pickups and returns are available on request only.  Customers are responsible for the rented vehicle in case of out of hours return, until the rental location opens the next working day.

Payment Policy

All major credit cards are accepted (American Express/Diners Club/Mastercard/Visa). Debit cards are not accepted (Visa Electron, Mastercard Maestro, Mozaic, Amex Blue, Delta/Switch etc). Cash, Travellers cheques and Eurocheques are not accepted. A credit card is always required for deposits, and the deposit is held on the card until the vehicle is returned. Credit card presented at time of rental must be in the name of the lead driver. Lead driver must be the one mentioned on the reservation and the prepaid voucher.  A credit card authorization is processed as deposit on all rentals for the following amounts: MCMR-EBMR-EDMR-EXMR-EDAR-ETMR car groups: 750 EUR MXAR-EMMR-HCMR-CDMR-CDAR-CXMR- CMMR-CWMR- IDMR-IDAR- IMMR-IMAR-IWAR-IVMR-IVAR-SDMR-SXMR-SWMR-SVMR- FVMR-    GVMR car groups: 1000 EUR SDAR-SWAR  car groups: 1500 EUR Pre-paid vouchers must be presented at time of rental or before the end of the rental in case of extension. A voucher fee of EUR 15.00 applies if the customer does not present a valid voucher at time of rental. If no voucher copy is received before the rental ends, a EUR 45.00 penalty fee applies in case of a refund request. In case of coverage of an extension, the extended voucher must be faxed or e-mailed to UK RES SUPPORT for authorisation.  Two credit cards in the same name are required for all rentals when renting the following car groups SFAR (Standard SUV), PDAR (Premium), CTMR (Compact Convertible), LDAR (Luxury), FDMR (Fullsize), FWAR (Fullsize Wagon-Estate), FDAR(Fullsize), IFMR (Intermediate SUV), PFAR (Premium SUV), LFAR (Luxury SUV), IGAR (Intermediate CROSSOVER - automatic) and IGMR (Intermediate CROSSOVER) car groups, and the credit cards must not be from the same issuer. The minimum authorization is EUR 1525.00 per card.

Refuelling Policy

Alamo/National will supply you a car with a full tank of petrol. Customers must return the car with a full tank of petrol or refuelling charges apply as valid at time of rental (check with the rental desk). Refuelling costs are subject to change at any time.

Roadside Assistance

Roadside Assistance is available for all rentals except those in the Channel Islands. The roadside assistance emergency telephone number for rentals within France is 0800 13 1211 and for rentals outside of France call +33 1 4993 7361 from either a landline or a mobile. Clients may have to pay for repairs, and should keep receipt of invoices in case a refund is due. In case of an accident, the customer must complete an accident report in all cases within 24 hours otherwise the full deductible amount will apply.

Special Equipment

Child Infant Seats - CSI - are available at a cost of EUR 25.08 per rental. Suitability is 0-1 year of age or under 9 kilos. Child Toddler Seats - CST - are available at a cost of EUR 25.08 per rental. Suitability is 1-3 years of age or under 18 kilos. Child Booster Seats - BST - are available at a cost of EUR 25.08 per rental. Suitability is 3-10 years of age or over 15 kilos. Portable GPS Navigation Systems are now available at EUR 8.36 plus tax per day with a maximum charge of EUR 125.42 plus tax per rental. Replacement amount is EUR 300.00 and is available at the following locations - Avignon Airport, Avignon TGV, Beauvais Airport, Beziers Gare, Beziers Airport, Bordeaux Airport, Bordeaux RRS, Geneva Airport - French, Lille Europe, Lyon Part Dieu, Lyon Airport St. Exup, Marseille Airport, Marseille RRS, Montpellier Airport, Montparnasse Gare SN, Nantes Airport, Nantes RRS, Nice international Airport, Paris Gare de Lyon R, Paris Gare du Nord R, Paris only – west – AI, Paris Porte maillot, Paris CDG - TFerm 1 and 2, Rennes RRS, Strasbourg Airport, Strasbourg Gare, Toulouse Airport. GPS Navigation Systems are available as standard equipment with no extra cost in the following car groups – SDAR, SXMR, FDMR, FDAR, PDAR, LDAR, SWMR, SWAR, FWAR, IMAR, IVAR, GVMR, SFAR, PFAR, LFAR. Standard Snow Chains - SNO - are available per rental for the EBMR economy, EDMR economy, EXMR economy special, EDAR economy automatic, EMMR economy monospace, CDMR compact, CXMR compact special, CDAR compact automatic, IDAR intermediate automatic, IDMR intermediate, SDMR standard, SXMR standard special, IGMR intermediate crossover, IMMR intermediate monospace, IWAR intermediate wagon estate automatic, CWMR compact wagon estate, CMMR compact monospace, SWMR standard wagon estate, IMAR intermediate monospace, IVAR intermediate passenger van, FVMR fullsize passenger van and GVMR fullsize elite passenger van car groups at a cost of EUR 29.26 plus tax (EUR 35 TAX incl.) per rental.This price is valid if pre-booked. If booked locally the cost will be more – up to EUR 37.63 plus tax (EUR 45 TAX incl.) per rental. SNO are on free sale. SUV Snow Chains - SNT - are available for the IFMR intermediate SUV and SFAR standard SUV car groups at a cost of EUR 125.42 plus tax (EUR 150 TAX incl.) per rental. For PFAR premium SUV and LFAR luxury SUV car groups, the cost is EUR 182.28 plus tax (EUR 218.00 TAX incl.) per rental. This price is valid if pre-booked. If booked locally the cost will be more – up to EUR 163.05 (EUR 195 TAX incl.) per rental for the IFMR-SFAR car groups and up to EUR 237.46 (EUR 284 TAX incl.) per rental for PFAR premium SUV and LFAR luxury SUV car groups. SNT are on free sale. Ski Racks - SKV - are available for the EBMR economy, EDMR economy, EXMR economy special,  EDAR economy automatic, EMMR economy monospace,CDMR compact, CDAR compact automatic, CXMR compact special, IDMR intermediate, IDAR intermediate automatic, SDMR standard, SXMR standard special, IGMR intermediate crossover, IMMR intermediate monospace, CWMR compact wagon estate, IWAR intermediate wagon estate automatic, SWMR standard wagon estate, IMAR intermediate monospace and IVAR intermediate passenger van car groups at a cost of EUR 29.26 plus tax (EUR 35 TAX incl.) per rental. This price is valid if pre-booked. If booked locally the cost will be more – up to EUR 37.63 plus tax (EUR 45 TAX incl.) per rental. SKV holds 2 pairs of skis. SKV is on free sale. A twin pack is available - SKI - which includes snow chains plus ski racks and the total cost is EUR 54.35 plus tax (EUR 65 TAX incl.) per rental. This price is valid if pre-booked. If booked locally the cost will be more – up to EUR 71.07 (EUR 85 TAX incl.) per rental. SKI is not available on CMMR, FVMR, GVMR or 4x4 SUVs.   Winter Equipment Vehicles - WIN - are available for the CDMR compact, CXMR compact special, IDMR intermediate, SDMR standard, SXMR standard special, IMMR intermediate monospace car groups at a cost of EUR 163.04 plus tax (EUR 195 TAX incl.) per rental. This price is valid if pre-booked. If booked locally the cost will be more – up to EUR 250.84 plus tax (EUR 300 TAX incl.) per rental. Winter equipment is not permitted for one way rentals, domestic or international and a local penalty charge will apply. Winter equiped vehicles include 4 snow tyres, 1 ski rack for 2 pairs of skis, 1 pair of snow chains and 1 ice scraper. All winter equipment - SKV, SNO, SNT and WIN are available from the 1st November to the 30th April. Winter equipped vehicles include 4 snow tyres, 1 ski rack for 2 pairs of skis, 1 pair of snow chains and 1 ice scraper. The availability of WIN, SNO, SKV, SNT and SKI will vary by location. Luggage Racks, Snow Boxes and Mobile Phones are not available. All special equipment is available on request only, except Child Seats which are available on free sale. Please contact the branch to book Child Infant Seats – CSI and add remarks into the reservation screen. A safety kit including safety jacket and safety triangle is required by law and is provided in all vehicles. Customers may supply their own safety equipment but the police will issue a fine to the driver if they cannot produce it when asked to. The rental company cannot be held responsible if the driver is not able to present or use the safety equipment and all fines will be charged to the driver in all cases. There is a charge of 16.72 EUR excluding vat to be paid locally if the customer causes any damage or loss to the rental company safety kit. All costs are excluding vat. Portable GPS navigation systems are on free sale and are available for one way rentals. There is an additional charge of EUR 16.73 plus tax if the return is in the station group loaded but if not the charge is EUR 83.62 plus tax. There is no charge when the return is in the same area.

Surcharges

Premium location fee is Euro 32.69 per rental plus VAT (Euro 39.10 including VAT) at all airports and railway stations in France. Vehicle Licence Fee is Euro 2.50 per day plus VAT (Euro 3.00 per day including VAT). Maximum charge is 6 days and mandatory at time of rental.
